2016-17 EcoART Contest Winners Selected
The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2016-17 EcoART Contest.
The EcoART Contest was open to Kentucky high school students who created art as a way to express their views on the environmental themes of air, water and land and natural habitats.
Winning entries to the 2016-17 EcoART Contest were submitted by Kaylee Thornsbury from Morgan County High School in West Liberty; Yedarm Lee from Somerset Christian School in Somerset; Savannah Wilder from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville; and Heather Bensinger from Mercer County High School in Harrodsburg.
The EcoART Contest is sponsored by DEP's Division of Compliance Assistance. Artwork from the contest winners will be displayed in the DEP Office Building at 300 Sower Boulevard in Frankfort, where it will be viewed by hundreds of visitors.
