2015-16 EcoART Contest Winners Selected
 
The Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection (DEP) announced the winners of the 2015-16 EcoART Contest, which was open to Kentucky high school students who created art using the contest themes of air, water and land and natural habitat. Students were encouraged to submit artwork using mediums, such as drawing/painting/print work, sculpture/pottery, mixed media and photographs.
 
The winners of the 2016 EcoART Contest are Shelby Cook from Pleasure Ridge Park High School in Louisville; Sophie Cozzolino from North Bullitt High School in Shepherdsville; and Sandra England, Katelyn Reagan, Maggie O'Leary and Jessie Grissom from Metcalfe County High School in Edmonton.
 
The EcoART Contest is sponsored by DEP's Division of Compliance Assistance. Artwork from the contest winners will be displayed in the DEP Office Building in Frankfort, where it will be viewed by hundreds of visitors.
 
Information and nomination forms for the 2016-17 EcoART Contest will appear on this page in late Fall 2016.
